MONDAY, 31 JULY
07:30
Trade Workshop - DUNEDIN TOWN HALL

The government's trade agenda 2030 is in part about completing a network of free trade agreements to cover 90 percent of our merchandise trade and it is also about tackling unjustified regulations, red tape and rules that exporters face and that inhibit trade. They are called  non-tariff barriers and they are a focus for government effort. Several government agencies including the Ministry for Primary Industries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Customs Service and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise will talk about what they do to tackle these barriers and they are also interested in hearing from you  about issues you face. Presentation by Clare Kelly
