BIOGRAPHY
Dr Victoria Hatton is an strategic foresight leader who helps boards, executives and sectors anticipate change and turn it into advantage. Through her practice, she advises on strategy, governance and sector development, and designs the scenario-planning, horizon-scanning, keynotes and board briefings that help organisations make confident long-range decisions.
She led one of New Zealand's largest public-private partnerships, FoodHQ, as chief executive, doubling its revenue, creating the flagship E Tipu Future Food & Fibre Summit, and now guiding its orderly closure. Her career spans negotiating for New Zealand at the United Nations, a UK Government diplomatic mandate across the Pacific, and building an advisory practice at PwC, alongside governance roles including trustee of Food Waste Champions 12.3 and Vice President of the British New Zealand Business Association.
A recognised voice on the future of food and fibre, she works to move New Zealand beyond commodity exports toward premium, resilient value, with clarity, resilience and a gift for bringing people with her.
