Kent Bacus

Kent Bacus serves as Executive Director of Government Affairs for the National Cattlemen’s Beef
Association (NCBA). Kent leads the Business Policy team that manages issues such as tax, financial services, cattle markets, and international trade. Kent serves as NCBA’s lead on international trade policy where he works with Congress, the Trump Administration, and foreign governments to advance the U.S. cattle and beef industry’s trade priorities. He also serves as a cleared advisor to USDA and USTR, and he holds leadership positions in the International Meat Secretariat. Kent is originally from Texas and is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
