Dr Linda Johnson

Dr Linda Johnson is the Science Group Manager for Resilient Agriculture and a Principal Scientist. Linda joined AgResearch in 2003 as a fungal molecular biologist with a PhD from West Virginia, USA.  She is interested in beneficial microbial endophytes with a particular focus on Epichloë endophytes of cool-season grasses. Her special interests are plant biotechnology, plant microbiomes, Epichloë-derived secondary metabolites, and the application of CRISPR technology for the gene editing of endophytes and forages.
